Giving back to the community is not just a corporate program or policy, it’s one of Beaulieu Canada’s priority. We are proud to support different organizations that strengthen the community they serve.
All of our Esperanza and Esperanza II laminate products have a pink underlayment. This pink underlayment not only allows for a hassle-free installation, but it is also our contribution to a great cause. Indeed, for each square foot of the product sold, we remit a percentage of residential sales to the CURE Foundation. We also support the Foundation through National Denim Day. Since 2011, Beaulieu has donated $128,430.
The CURE Foundation is a national foundation that provides funding for basic and clinical research for breast cancer. Their mission is to work in tandem with women and men, health professionals, other foundations and Canadian teaching hospitals to improve the outcome for those affected. The CURE Foundation strives to raise breast cancer awareness among Canadians and help explore all possible avenues in the fight against breast cancer, to ensure no lives are lost due to a lack of funding.
We recognize the importance of our social responsibility and that is why we give our support to several charities such as United Way. United Way tackles major social issues and implements winning strategies to fight poverty and exclusion. Since 2012, as a result of multiple fundraising campaigns, we have donated more than $10,000. This amount includes contributions from employees and Beaulieu.
United Way is helping to meet the basic needs of communities’ most vulnerable people, giving every Canadian the opportunity to realize a better future.
